2021 – Medium and long term health of children conceived by ART

Following a request from the National Consultative Ethics Committee, the Inserm Institutes « Cell biology, development, evolution » and « Pathophysiology, metabolism, nutrition » organize in cooperation with the Ethics Committee a one-day symposium on medium and long term health of children conceived by Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART).

The symposium will present the current data on the follow-up of children conceived by ART, mainly by intraconjugal in vitro fertilization (IVF) / intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and on what is related to ART procedures or to other factors such as infertility of the parents. The ethical issues will also be addressed. The symposium will be composed of general and more specific lectures, led by international experts. A round table on questions raised and perspectives will close the day. The symposium will be held in English.

The November 25th, 2021

The symposium will take place on November 25th, 2021 at « Grand Amphi » in GHU Paris Psychiatrie & Neurosciences (1 rue Cabanis, Paris 14). It is intended for a wide audience of researchers, clinicians and actors interested in this theme.

The symposium is free of charge but registration is mandatory. Due to the pandemic situation, Covid health pass will be mandatory to attend the meeting.
