The 22th of may : World Pre-eclampsia Day

Pre-eclampsia is a pregnancy disease that combines high blood pressure and protein in the urine. Most patients will recover quickly. However, this syndrome can lead to many complications.

The “Pregnancy and Health Against Pre-eclampsia” patient association has been very active around this day dedicated to making pre-eclampsia better known to a wider public. Under the leadership of its president and founder, Céline Camilleri, and its volunteers, a few of their actions must be highlighted :

  • A survey of mothers affected by pre-eclampsia on their level of information
  • Interventions of a psychologist on the social networks of the association
  • Interviews of two professors of medicine.
